What is it about?
While fluid (i.e., reasoning) and crystallized (i.e., knowledge) abilities are well known mental ability domains included in out understanding of what it means to be smart, adding emotions to intelligence has been discussed more heatedly for a long time. Thus study investigates how a sample of students perfoms in tasks which measure emotional, fluid and crystallized abilities - how do these abillities relate to each other? Are they related enough to be considered valid parts of intelligence, yet seperate enough to be understood as distinct sets of abilities?
