Why is it important?

The actual clinical practise of cardiovascular rehabilitation still is heterogenous with respect to indications, contents and delivery. To optimize short and longterm clinical and socioeconomic outcomes in patients with cardiovascular diseases any effort is needed to homogenize cardiovascular rehabilitation content and delivery by reflecting the special aspects of great spectrum of cardiovascular disases, and also focus on gender aspects, age and heterogenous populations.

Perspectives

Cardiovascular rehabilitation needs to be established worldwide as an integrative part of the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases
