Given that quercetin has proven to be effective for NSCLC treatment, targeting its derivatives might help in understanding the 7nAChRs-mediated signaling pathways as potential targets for NSCLC treatment.

Perspectives

Future directions for exploring potential mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effects of QDs in nicotine induced NSCLC, particularly in smokers, are warranted.
