Why is it important?

There are 4 categories of disparities that nurses experience at work that can be addressed at the workplace level that may have a positive influence on health and wellbeing

Perspectives

This paper offers a starting point to examine difficulties nurses encounter in LTC using a conceptual framework. It also points to the need for research that asks nurses about their lived experience with inequities and the influence on their health. Further important is to find a way to monitor health and wellbeing of nurses experiencing inequities at work in LTC.
