What is it about?
This study explores the experiences and lessons learned by nurses working in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through interviews with these nurses, the researchers identified several important themes, such as the emotional challenges faced by the nurses, the importance of teamwork, the need for continuous learning and training, adaptability and resilience, and the impact on their professional identity. By understanding these experiences, we can better prepare and support healthcare workers in future pandemics or similar situations.
