An investigation of physical violence among clients receiving couple and family therapy. Presentation of the prevalence of such violence and a model for discovering this type of violence in a clinical population

Why is it important?
Domestic violence is highly prevalent, but seldom discovered by therapists and thereby often neglected as a focus in therapy. Knowledge of the prevalence of physical violence in clinical samples together with a model to help to detect the violence is therefore needed.
