What is it about?
This review describes the current findings concerning the effects of thyroid hormone receptors on cerebellar development and function. Most of the findings came from advances in the transgenic mouse models. Since 1996, mice with mutated or absent thyroid hormone receptors isoforms have been one of the main tools to study the effect of thyroid hormones in important organs as Central Nervous System.
