This is a newly developed and validated tool for measuring the quality of the work life of elderly workers

Why is it important?
The areas that need to improve in a work setting where elderly workers are working can be identified. Working on the identified gaps will help to improve the work life of the elderly workers as well as the productivity of the workers.
Perspectives
Since the elderly population in the world is rising it is inevitable for them to get involved in the labour force. Also, the elderly workers who had engaged in work before retirement have vast experience and knowledge which will be really worth sharing with the current working population. This may increase the productivity of the workplace. Furthermore improving the work situation of the elders will be a way of showing our gratitude to a workforce who have given their past to the betterment of the present workforce.
