What is it about?

This review aimed to collect all the touchscreen cognitive screening tools developed in the last years, all over the world. It finds 30 tools available in 13 languages, with clinical performance similar to paper-and-pencil reference standard(eg MoCA)

Why is it important?

Digital tools for the case finding of dementia could be adoperate more easily in the context of primary care, because of some important advantages: self-administration, reduction of time in administration and scoring, automatic report of results, consideration of more variables such as time of response. This review offer a panoramic of the availability of these tools all over the world, addressing differences among languages and countries, and health disparities.
