What is it about?

The orthoses used in patients with lateral epicondylitis should be positioned close to the epicondyle and among the commercial models, the least thick is the most effective.

Why is it important?

Our findings demonstrate the best orthotic device to be used for decrease extensor muscles and we have the hypothesis that it will decrease the pain of patients with lateral epicondylitis

Perspectives

the new perspective is to use this orthosis in patients with complaints of pain in the lateral region of the elbow and to prove that by minimizing the activation of these muscles we can reduce the stress in the region of insertion of the extensor muscles and minimize the patients' complaints.
