What is it about?

In this study, patients undergoing ultrasound examination were surveyed regarding their examination time, examination site, patient’s gender, age, physician’s title and physician’s gender, and to analyze their influencing factors in order to provide reference for future interventions to optimize patients’ ultrasound examination appointments, reduce patients’ waiting time, and improve physicians’ efficiency.

Why is it important?

Numerous studies have focused on reducing patient absences and effectively scheduling exams. However, very few studies have analyzed the factors influencing examination time and predicted examination time. We believe that predicting examination time is advantageous in reasonably and efficiently scheduling patient examinations.
