Perspectives

The use of RFID technology in evaluating the COVID-19 compliance is a significant improvement over traditional survey methods, which can be prone to biases or inaccuracies. The real-time data provided by RFID offers a much clearer picture of actual behavior, which is often a challenge in compliance studies. The deviant from the report is alarming when compared to other report. From the result, the low compliance rates, especially the 14% compliance in the Faculty of Medicine. This could prompt thoughts on the effectiveness of university health protocols, student behavior, and the potential need for stronger enforcement or better communication about the importance of social distancing. Hence the need to advocating consideration of application of RFID technology in public event, work place to track compliance of various health protocols.
