What is it about?
We investigated decision tree-based models to classify groups in the aging cognitive decline spectrum by combining radiomic features extracted from single imaging modalities (MRI, PET FDG and PET AMY) and combinations of medical imaging modalities (MRI+PET FDG+PET AMY, PET FDG+PET AMY).

Why is it important?
The classification of cognitively non-impaired individuals from early stages of cognitive decline, mild cognitive decline, and Alzheimer’s clinical syndrome using radiomic features extracted from MRI, PET FDG, and PET amyloid can be used both in clinical trial recruiting and understanding the aging mechanisms.
