What is it about?

Do you need to increase the success rate of your digital transformation projects? Knowing the different micro-contexts (case studies), the processes applied in similar initiatives, and the registered success factors of other digital transformation projects in the public sector can help you achieve your goals. If you need to DO MORE with the same (or fewer) resources, this paper is for you!

Why is it important?

This paper enumerates 38 case studies, details four processes applied in other initiatives and consolidates 51 success factors that can illuminate the planning of your digital transformation projects, contributing to the success of your projects and, with it, of your organization. In addition, the process applied in this systematic review, well documented in this paper, can be replicated in other contexts, helping other researchers.

Perspectives

This article was conceived in my preparation for a doctorate in Information Systems. As a civil servant in Brazil, I always seek to apply academic knowledge to real problems. I believe that this paper, written in partnership with friends Washington Almeida and João Varajão, can contribute to the success of digital transformation initiatives in governments worldwide.
