What is it about?

Shunt treatment was performed in 17 demented patients with normal-pressure hydrocephalus. Following treatment improvement was observed in form of increased cerebral blood flow in low flow areas and decreased cerebral ventricular size in 6 of the patients. Cognitive function improved in some of the patients.
