What is it about?
We found an indication that the springtail Folsomia candida parents living under insecticide stress transmit this information to their offspring, who react with higher quality egg production.

Why is it important?
Alterations in egg traits may have important consequences on the F. candida population dynamic. For example, differences in egg size can lead to changes in population growth rates.
