What is it about?
Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices measures (RSPM) cognitive performance not influenced by culture. Due to its non-verbal format, the RSPM is used with a broad range of populations, but RSPM was not validated in Portugal. Thus we have studied its psychometric properties for the Portuguese population.

Why is it important?
The RSPM non-verbal format is suitable for a broad range of populations for whom language processing is minimized, such as foreign language groups, deaf people, and economically disadvantaged groups.
