Climate change is not simply a somewhat slight inconvenience on peoples’ lives – climate change is the single biggest threat to human well-being. Climate change is not a regional challenge – climate change will increasingly hit human beings globally. In fact, climate impacts are already imposing upon humans across the planet. In light of this, it is surprising that even civil society remains largely inactive.
