What is it about?
Conceptual Engineering, or making our words better, needs input from linguistics. I explore this from an empirical angle, using corpus linguistic techniques to investigate a tentative case of conceptual engineering in history, namely Newton's introduction fo the word "Mass". I then explore it from a theoretical angle, taking modern semantic theories and applying it to conceptual engineering.
