What is it about?

This study analyzed the level of reliability of the Hiring Agent Survey regarding Selection of Qualified Autistic Candidates (HASSQAC) instrument through factor and reliability analysis. Findings indicated significant reliability of the HASSQAC and related theories, including the theory of planned behavior.

Why is it important?

Measuring human behavior based on beliefs is challenging and requires reliable instruments for gathering valid data. Establishing the reliability of the HASSQAC instrument provides increased reliability to studies using data obtained through the instrument. The more reliable the research, the better able to influence positive social change related to research findings.

Perspectives

I feel this study demonstrated solid evidence in the reliability of the HASSQAC tool for measuring hiring agents' beliefs that lead to behavior based off the theory of planned behavior, as well as five other highly used and valid theoretical frameworks.
