Females with ADHD have been historically overlooked in clinical and research settings. Previous published systematic reviews have focused on circumscribed disadvantages of females with ADHD. This all inclusive systematic review considers all the inequities which side-line females with ADHD.

Clinicians have access to a comprehensive systematic review of all implications of female ADHD. Recommendations for practice, policy and future research are advanced. This mixed methods systematic review was conducted following the latest guidance available for this novel type of evidence synthesis. Rationale and protocol were meticulously explained.
