What is it about?
Given the tremendous threat that the COVID-19 outbreak has posed to our healthcare system. To deliver clinical treatment, clinicians had to provide creative and timely "virtual" remedies. We presented three cases involving the treatment of children who required noninvasive ventilation and mask fitting (NIV). This studies' goal was to provide a consistent method to virtual "mask fitting" for children who are being started on long-term ventilation (LTV) or who are currently on LTV in a pediatric hospital.

Why is it important?
Our findings showed that during COVID-19, a virtual/telemedicine programme to handle young patients who needed mask fitting for LTV was a viable option. Virtual clinics were efficient for managing patients in LTV programme, resulting in enhanced workflow for RTs and convenience for patients and family caregivers (FC). Patients and FCs were less compelled to visit in-person clinics and indicated high levels of satisfaction with their experience and, more importantly, fulfilling their respiratory care needs.
