What is it about?
Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) and diabetes mellitus type 2 are very common problems in Qatar. This study simply describing how common CVD risk factors on a big group of 532 Qatari patients suffering from diabetes.

Why is it important?
The leading cause of death in Qatar as in the rest of the world is CVD. Knowing the risk factors is very important to set new programs and services to reduce the burden of CVD on the long term.
