What is it about?

The aim of this study is to biogenically synthesize silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using the aqueous leaf extracts of GB and GH, analyze their ability to target the HeLa cell line, and determine whether they have antimalarial property.

Why is it important?

Nanoparticles (NPs) exhibit exceptional behaviour due to their small size and remarkably great ratio of surface region to volume; this distinctive capability makes them very useful in many areas of research like biosensors, optics, packaging, and drug delivery

Perspectives

Natural products have an endless potential for new therapeutic leads due to their unparalleled chemical diversity. This chemical diversity has made medicinal plants a substantial source of biologically active compounds, and they have been extensively employed in the treatment of humans
