What is it about?
Elbow braces are often used to relieve pain in people with tennis elbow. This study compared the effects of an off-the-shelf tennis elbow brace with a brace that featured an additional strap designed to unload the sore area of the elbow. We found no difference between the braces, with both braces providing improvements in pain-free grip strength. Therefore, the choice of which brace to use should be based on the individual's preference, comfort and cost.
