What is it about?

After the full therapy for brucellosis, patients don't seem to show complete recovery. they always return to their doctors complaining of subtle signs of inflammation. What truly confuses the physician and the clinical microbiologist is that no characteristic investigation markers agree with the patient's complaint. In this research a rise in the IFN-gamma was proved to be specific in such cases.

Why is it important?

The research marked a subclinical form of brucellosis out of the management causing the continous relapse of the disease.

Perspectives
