What is it about?
Explored some general characteristics of ground track divergence from straight-in and straight-out trajectories.

Why is it important?
Rapid airport-level noise analysis is simpler with straight-in and -out trajectories, as single event grids can be pre-calculated and stored in advance. If the single event grids for a few common curved trajectories could be identified, they could also be pre-calculated and the benefits of curved paths could also be evaluated rapidly.
