What is it about?
The radiative flux from the Huygens probe during entry into Titan is modeled. This simulated radiative flux directed back to Earth is shown to be below the lower limit of a measurement made during Huygens entry. This result is consistent with the lack of a measurable shock-layer component being seen in this measurement.
