What is it about?
No models or correlations were given for the extensive numerical results which are cited. Only values of reduced flow rates in terms of rarefactions are given in tabular form. In the present manuscript the authors have proposed a novel model which is based on the ratio of the continuum Poiseuille number to the Poiseuille number with slip in terms of the Knudsen number for all data from the Knudsen minimum to the maximum rarefaction which can be close to continuum flow condition. The authors also propose two models for the Lo and Loyalka data for gas flows in circular microchannels for two regimes: 1) the regime from free molecule to the Knudsen minimum, and 2) the regime from the Knudsen minimum to the maximum rarefaction. Also the derived models are used to develop models for the dimensionless mass flow rate in terms of rarefaction. These models have a maximum deviation of 2%. This is reported in the manuscript.
