What is it about?

Multidisciplinary design and optimization integrating both aerodynamics and aeroacoustics has recently drawn increasing attention with the serious environmental problem. We propose a novel on-the-fly unsteady adjoint-based aerodynamic and aeroacoustic optimization methodology aiming to achieve practical engineering applications to explore high-efficiency and low-noise design for aerodynamic shapes.
