What is it about?
Vortex particle methods are efficient for simulating wake-dominant flows. However, these methods are traditionally unstable, making simulations like air/rotorcraft hover challenging. We derive a new set of governing equations, we call a reformulated vortex particle method, that leads to stable simulations.
