What is it about?

This work examines the use of novel leading-edge airfoil shapes in order to improve drag related performance for flight in Mach numbers ranging from 0.9-1.2. The effects of these shapes are also studied in reference to the delay of stall to higher angles of attack. The novelty of these shapes comes on the form of their bluntness relative to traditional airfoil shapes.
