What is it about?
Experiments are conducted on a gaseous jet injected perpendicularly into crossflow, where the jet fluid is sinusoidally perturbed via a loudspeaker. Alterations in jet dynamics, structure and mixing are observed and quantified via highly resolved laser imaging methods, and forcing conditions for optimal jet behavior are identified.
