What is it about?
For engineering and scientific investigation, a large number of input conditions/data are uncertain due to various reasons. This results in the uncertainty of the measured output, which need to be understood for engineering applications. This paper studies the uncertainty associated with an advanced pressure measurement technique, pressure sensitive paint. From the analysis, the effect of the PSP on the uncertainty of forces obtained can be better understood with statistic information beyond just deterministic data.
