What is it about?
One way to study the effects of forward flight motion on a jet is to consider such jet to be submitted to an outer air stream (namely, a jet with flight effect). Differences between the velocity field of a jet with flight effect and that of a jet in media at rest are expected to be found. We show our model for the analysis of the velocity field of a jet with flight effect, and provide comparisons between numerical and experimental results for jets with and without flight effect.
