What is it about?

A new laser-based technique (STARFLEET) is applied for the first time to obtain velocity measurements in a transonic, cryogenic wind tunnel. This new technique allows for spatially-resolved velocity results, which are shown to agree well with measurements from the facility's data acquisition system.
