What is it about?

Aeroelastic control, can be performed in several way. One simple way is to use active feedback control by employing aerodynamic control surfaces as actuators, and using the dynamic response of the structures, e.g. aircraft wing, as a measurement. Several control techniques could be used. In this paper, we present a receptance based controller, using two control surfaces as actuators and two position sensors, located on a flexible wing. The study is conducted numerically and experimentally on a flexible aeroelastic wing in wind tunnel.
