What is it about?
Active flow control with plasma actuation, has been intensively investigated by researchers worldwide due to its simple structure, rapid response and lack of any mechanical moving parts. We show the unsteady flow fields induced by a pulsed TED plasma actuator under different operating conditions and the dynamic process of the formation, evolution and interaction of the starting vortices.
