What is it about?
In some engagements between a single pursuer and multiple evaders, the pursuer should decide which of the evaders should be engaged. The decision takes place at some intermediate time moment with a given probability. In the paper, the optimal guidance law is derived for such a case. The guidance law minimizes the average control effort over the set of the evaders and guarantees the capture of a chosen evader.
