What is it about?
The projected growth in commercial aviation will more than likely increase environmental impacts due to noise. We present a sample efficient trajectory optimization algorithm to optimize noise abatement procedures subject to random gusts and pilot response delays and demonstrate reductions in noise exposure of up to 3.1 dB.
