Extension of the Density Approach for Debris Cloud Propagation

What is it about?

Collisions or explosions in space generate clouds of fragments that can easily contain thousands of objects. This work uses an approach typical from fluid dynamics to model the evolution of such a cloud over time, avoiding having to follow each object trajectory and so reducing the required computational time.
