What is it about?
Gust response has a large effect on small aerial vehicles, but has historically been tough to model. We use a control-theoretic framework to examine how implementing an automatic flight control strategy changes this gust response.

Why is it important?
Techniques to understand the effect of applying feedback control in gusty environments will give us a powerful tool for modulating gust response and increasing the endurance of small air vehicles.
