Comparison of Data-Driven Approaches to Rotorcraft Store Separation Modeling

What is it about?

Store separation has historically proven to be challenging to model. In this work, we investigate alternative approaches to modeling loads a body may experience as it is separated from a rotorcraft. These loads are then utilized to help predict the trajectory of the store as it falls.
