What is it about?
The numerical model of an aircraft wing needs to be calibrated to better match the experimental results. As aircraft become more flexible, the calibration process needs to be re-evaluated to account for the impact of structural flexibility. We show that a modified calibration process that accounts for large displacements in flexible wings improves the quality of the model calibration.
