What is it about?
Propulsion aerodynamics and airframe aerodynamics for airplanes with propellers are usually modeled separately, which fails to describe unavoidable propulsion-airframe interactions and thrust production differences. This paper describes two novel methods used to develop an improved mathematical model for propulsion and airframe aerodynamics of a propeller-driven airplane using data gathered in flight testing.
