What is it about?

The CFD prediction of stall aerodynamics is simulated using the OpenFOAM and SA turbulence model at Re = 6 million and compared against the wind tunnel test data for a thin rectangular wing (9$\%$) of aspect ratio 5 along with modifications of the wing leading edge curvature. The obtained two-dimensional computational results qualitatively agree with the experiment, indicating increased maximum lift coefficient in case of leading edge modifications with pronounced static aerodynamic hysteresis loops.
