Sensitivity of Spin Parameters to Uncertainties of the Aircraft Aerodynamic Model

What is it about?

Aircraft spin remains one of the most dangerous phenomena encountered in flight. Its reliable prediction is entirely related to the adequacy of the aerodynamic model used for analysis. The influence of the inevitable inaccuracy of the aerodynamic model on the spin parameters is investigated. It is shown that some of the aerodynamic uncertainties can significantly influence on the spin parameters and should be taken into account for reliable spin prediction.
