What is it about?
A more efficient method of solving aerodynamic and aeroelastic problems for complex vehicles, such as helicopters, has been designed. This approach provides solutions that are as accurate as expensive computational methods but at 30-50% of the cost. The method is an improvement over prior methods because it can handle multiple components and provides a more accurate pitching moment prediction.
