What is it about?
Aeroelastic flutter is a destructive instability phenomenon for which dedicated flight test campaigns are considered compulsory by the airworthiness regulations. Over the years, several advanced flutter flight test techniques were developed in order to increase the efficiency and accuracy of flutter flight tests. In this paper, we present an experimental study of flutter prediction via Autoregressive Moving-Average (ARMA) system identification and the use of a linear stability parameter.
