What is it about?
This paper describes experiments characterizing the flow of gas through very small components in spacecraft propulsion systems where the gas can neither be modeled simply as a fluid nor as a collection of individual molecules. The results of these experiments show that a certain type of numerical modeling technique provides accurate predictions of such flow.
